Fine Music 102.5 FM located at 72-76 Chandos Street, St Leonards is the radio station that some 250,000 Sydneysiders and a world-wide audience tune in to every week for a vibrant mix of classical, jazz and contemporary music.

On Fine Music, you’ll hear well-loved masterworks from virtuoso composers, conductors and singers – the likes of Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Ashkenazy, Toscanini, von Karajan, Caruso and Sutherland and many more. You’ll also walk the road less travelled with unheralded but truly exceptional artists from around the world. The stations innovative jazz presenters draw a dedicated audience with some of the best jazz airplay in the country. Their eclectic play lists are set against an entertaining and well-informed commentary.

Fine Music’s well established Young Composer and Young Virtuoso awards throw spotlight on tomorrow’s stars and, through donations from sponsors and donors, offer financial reward to help develop their gifts.

In partnership with Sydney’s many arts organisations Fine Music 102.5 promotes major local and visiting international artists.

A community broadcaster, Fine Music 102.5 is run by more than 200 volunteers – aided by a handful of employees. The very first Australian radio station in FM stereo, 2MBS-FM changed to Fine Music 102.5 in July 2012.

The station commenced in 1974 and in December this year, celebrates its 40th birthday of bringing Fine Music to Sydney.
